Anela Bird is an Acupuncturist, Spiritual integration guide, Somatic Breathwork™ Facilitator, and ceremonialist. She has been a student of plant medicines, shamanism, and their subsequent integration into therapeutic processes for the past 7 years. Her lifelong intention is to help others learn about their bodies, spirits, and minds in order to live well.
Anela was raised with a strong intentional focus on the biological sciences. She has a passion for integrating medicines of different cultures, specifically her native Hawaiian, Chinese and Western medicines. Incorporating these indigenous practices is a very significant part of her therapeutic modalities and her life. Additionally, Anela guides people in Somatic Breathwork™ and various ceremonies connecting with various plant medicines. In her life journey, integration has been very important and she provides follow up integration support so that those experiences from ceremony are carried into the everyday imbued with the meaning they deserve. Anela graduated with her BS from CSU Fresno and her MS in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is from Kula, Maui and resides on Oahu in the Kingdom of Hawai’i. She facilitates breathwork sessions(private and group), ceremonies, retreats, workshops, practices acupuncture, and provides spiritual guidance.
