Michael Sagaert

Michael (he/him) is currently a Graduate Student in Naropa University’s Masters of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling. His calling is helping people experience the healing of their hearts and connecting to the divine. Michael identifies as a 34-year-old, Caucasian, able-bodied, empath male. He is trained and versed in multiple modalities of mindfulness, transformational work, yogic and Buddhist principles. He uses his intuitive process as the foundation of his work.


Michael’s introduction to psychedelic healing medicine was in a small psychiatric office in Colorado Springs, CO. Unable to afford TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) in hopes of easing his depression, he decided to undergo IV Ketamine Treatment. That protocol was the catalyst to falling in love with being a practitioner in the mental health space. Music and sound has played a primary role in what has been possible for him in his own healing.


Michael lives in Bend, OR, and travels to work with clients throughout the Western United States and works with clients worldwide virtually. He is currently a facilitator for NAPS (Naropa Alliance for Psychedelic Studies), an avid cold plunger and biohacker, loves functional breathing, enjoys learning and teaching, and can regularly be found connecting with self and others through ceremonial gatherings to honor those present in both current and past existences.
