This Work Begins With
How We Choose to Listen
The field of microdosing is growing, but growth alone does not guarantee wisdom.
As more people turn toward mushrooms for support, there is a growing need for practitioners who can hold both the science and the mystery.
We need people who understand protocols but also know that no protocol can replace listening. We need people who respect research while remembering that the human being in front of them is more complex than any study. We need practitioners who can offer structure without control, insight without certainty, and support without taking another person’s power away.
The Holonic Practitioner is an invitation to become one of those people.
It is an invitation to deepen your knowledge, grow within a community, and develop a way of working that honors the medicine, the individual, and the interconnected systems shaping every human experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a licensed clinician?
No. The training welcomes people from a range of healing, wellness, coaching, and healthcare backgrounds. Applicants should have formal education or training in a healing modality, experience working one-on-one with clients, and a personal relationship with plant medicine or entheogens.
Is the training online?
Yes. The recorded curriculum, private community, and weekly live calls are all hosted online, allowing practitioners from different locations and professional backgrounds to participate in the same cohort.
How much time should I set aside?
Participants should plan time each week to complete the recorded material, reflect on what they are learning, engage with the community, and attend the 90-minute live call. Some weeks may include more than one recorded module as the 14-module curriculum unfolds across 12 weeks.
Will payment plans be available?
Yes. Flexible payment plan options will be available for participants who prefer to divide the tuition into multiple payments. Inquire in your application if you’d like to explore a flexible payment plan.
What happens after I apply?
The Mycology Psychology team will review your application to ensure the program is aligned with your experience, intentions, and current work. You will receive the next steps by email after your application has been reviewed.
Is personal experience with plant medicine required?
Yes. We believe personal experience offers an important foundation for understanding the sensitivity, complexity, and responsibility involved in supporting another person through this work.
What happens during the weekly calls?
The live calls are a space to ask questions, discuss the recorded teachings, explore real-life applications, reflect on practitioner responsibility, integrate the material, and connect with the cohort community.
Do I need to attend the live calls?
Participants are strongly encouraged to attend the live calls because the conversation, integration, and community experience are central parts of the training. There will be recording sent in case you cannot attend the live calls.
What are the community integration calls?
Mycology Psychology’s community integration calls are ongoing gatherings where members of the wider community can connect, reflect, and integrate their experiences together. Participants in The Holonic Practitioner will be invited to join these calls during the training and become part of the broader Mycology Psychology community.
